Fa Real Prayer

Let me give you something to think about.
Praying to God and giving Him a wish list are two different things. The latter being indicative of an unhealthy relationship.
Doing all of the talking and none of the listening in our prayer time is counterproductive.
God, indeed, answers prayers. There's no doubt about that, but there will be times where His answer will be "no", "not yet", and "you're not ready".
We forget that even Jesus had to submit to the will of the Father in prayer.
(“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.” -Luke 22:42)
Shame on whoever it was that deceived the church and the world into believing that God grants wishes and not answers prayers.
Prayer is a communication that requires dialogue. And it is yet, another way God molds us into greater people.
